I received an ARC of this new book from Melissa Tereze. An interesting plot with a few twists and turns. The Hideout is the name of the bar was very appropriate as it epitomized the premise of the story. A broken Paige, the mixologist, hiding from her abusive husband. I found James, the husband, to be the most despicable character in any book I have read. Gladly the story has a happy ending as I knew it must but still an age-gap romance with a pinch of disquiet and some angst. I recommend this book but suggest you don’t have any valuable crockery at hand that you may resort to throwing at a wall.
