It’s not often there is a story where the backdrop is in Africa but this one has it in spades. The description of the scenery had me Googling several times for images of the Devil’s Pool and some of the many rapids. Never having been whitewater rafting I felt every movement of the raft whilst reading this book. The author was unknown to me but not anymore. If you are into armchair adventure with your sapphic romance then this is a must-read.
